Time in the hippie filled Haight Ashbury was productive indeed. Visiting a park called The Panhandle, there was obvious change taking place when we prayed and worshiped through. Many folks consumed with a look and an assumed feeling of love, joy and happiness that we found was quite the opposite. Marching through in pairs of two, we met many hopeless, desperate, and those searching for something better. We prayed with many who were open to more life and hope to encounter a friendship with God.
Journeying onward to Fisherman's Wharf, we were guided on a tour of China Town, Little Italy, Lombard Street, and many fun filled facts of the gold miners and San Francisco history. Ending with a phone call from our San Francisco friend wanting to re-connect to pray for her friend Arthur. This was another powerful time of prayer and release for Arthur. Things were broken and there was noticeable change. A cool way to finish our time in San Francisco.
